Join urban grower Emily Carvalho for an immersive walk through the farm, where we’ll discover wild plants that make excellent additions to a first aid kit. Together, we’ll explore where these plants grow, the best times to harvest them, and how to prepare them for both food-as-medicine and herbal first aid. We’ll wrap up the experience with a salve-making demonstration, and each participant will take home their own first aid salve crafted from locally foraged ingredients. Whether you’re new to herbal remedies or a seasoned forager, this workshop will offer valuable insights into the healing power of plants!
