Community Indigo Shibori Workshop at LexFarm

Learn the traditional Japanese art of Shibori, a form of tie-dye, and create beautiful, vibrant patterns on fabric. This event is perfect for those seeking a creative activity and a fun, surprising, community-art making experience. Marina Strauss of Arlington’s Mystic Open Studio and Bo Anselmo will be joining us for this fun day of making things new by making things blue! Event is outside in our Learning Garden.
**Please bring a small white or light colored article of clothing or pieces of fabric made of natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool, or silk. No polyester please) You can upcycle t-shirts, vintage linens, even revive something that is stained. We will also have some textiles on hand to purchase. This will be outside in our Learning Garden.
Workshop is free but registration is required as space limited. Suggested Donation $5-15.
This program is supported by the Mass Cultural Council.
