Cary Library Event – Literary Cafe: Romance Writers Talk Happily Ever After

Did you know that romance and romantasy novels were some of the most popular books taken out of Cary Library in 2024? Romance is a growing genre in the publishing world, and readers–including those here in Lexington–love love. To celebrate this fascination (and Valentine’s Day), Cary Library and the Cary Library Foundation are hosting Literary Cafe: Romance Writers Talk Happily Ever After on February 10 at 7 PM ET. This virtual event will feature three romance authors (including Lexington’s own Kate Cochrane) talking about writing romance, how to write scenes that sizzle, how romance has moved beyond bodice rippers, and more.
