Advent Noontime Concerts at Hancock Church
Come hear a short lunchtime concert at Hancock Church! Join us on Wednesdays at noon for free, 30-minute concerts in the sanctuary. Each week features a different roster of our talented musicians for informal concerts for the whole community. Bring your lunch and enjoy the music!
On December 6, organist Ian Watson plays music by Thomas Arne, Henry Purcell, and C.V. Stanford.
On December 13, baritone Mark Morgan sings music from Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, and concert settings of traditional carols. Accompanying him on the piano is Ian Watson.
On December 20, Aija Reke and Taisiya Sokolov play works for violin and viola by Mozart, Bach, and Sibelius, as well as seasonal carols.
