Last Thursday morning, the Friends of Lexington Bikeways and Town Transportation Services staff hosted its 12th annual Breakfast on the Bikeway, celebrating Bike Month and Bike to Work Day. Joining us on the Bikeway were representatives from the ACROSS Lexington bike and walking network, the Tour de Cure fundraising ride benefiting the American Diabetes Association, and the Cycle for Shelter ride benefiting Emmaus. Lexington Cycle generously provided on-site bike maintenance for anyone who needed it.

We are deeply grateful to the donors whose support allowed us to serve the many walkers, runners, cyclists, and passersby who stopped by. Special thanks to Starbucks for the coffee, Wicked Bagel for warm, fresh bagels, FoodLink for delicious pastries, and Stop & Shop for additional food and drinks.
