Community events include cultural celebrations, lectures, concerts, art exhibits, nature walks, and other Town or nonprofit events taking place in Lexington. Accepted events will appear on our Community Events page. Event submissions are usually reviewed and published to our site on Thursdays.
If you would like your event to appear in our Friday newsletter, please submit by Wednesday of that week and we will do our best to include. We can fit about 10 items in the newsletter each week, depending on length, and usually chose based on what is coming up next chronologically. When space is limited, we prioritize events that haven’t already been featured, aim for variety, and consider which events appeal to the widest audience. We reserve the right to determine which submissions are appropriate for our publication and to edit as needed.

STOP! We’d like to continue to provide this service to local organizations on a by-donation basis. However, it takes money and work to keep the calendar running. We are hoping to eventually replace this clunky old plug-in with a better version, but we can’t do that without your help. The suggested donation is $50/post.
