I am proud to support Mona Roy as she runs for Lexington School Committee. I have had the pleasure of working alongside her in many community roles, including as a fellow Scout parent, a fellow parent in the William Diamond Junior Fife & Drum Corps, and through the Community Endowment of Lexington, where she has been deeply engaged in fostering volunteerism and community support.
Mona is also the Chair of Lex250, and most recently, I have been helping her with the VO 250 initiative, which celebrates and encourages volunteerism in Lexington. Despite her busy schedule, she leads this program with energy, dedication, and a genuine commitment to making Lexington a stronger, more inclusive community. Volunteering to improve our town is a core value we share, and it is inspiring to see her bring that spirit to everything she does.
Mona is a tireless worker, detail-oriented, and always keeps sight of the big picture. She leads with integrity and heart, and she consistently steps up to serve our community in meaningful ways. I initially discouraged her from running because she has already given so much, but it is clear that she is compelled to do even more.
I urge everyone to fill in the bubble and vote for Mona Roy on March 2. Lexington will be stronger with her thoughtful, principled leadership on the School Committee.
Thanks,
Liz Kochi
