Local elections don’t make national headlines, but the people elected to local office shape many elements of our daily lives, from our kids’ classrooms, to how our town grows, how are tax dollars are spent, what we as a community do to protect the environment, and more.

This year’s local elections will take place on Monday, March 2. LexObserver has created this guide to help voters get to know the issues and the candidates so you can make informed decisions on election day.
