Youth Filmmaking Summer Camp (August 18th to August 22nd)

LexMedia is hosting its popular kids filmmaking class again this August! Over the course of the class, students will showcase their imagination by adapting the well-known board game and stage production Clue into a short film. Under the guidance of our skilled staff, students will learn the basics of acting, improvisation, and camera skills in order to bring their visions to life both during the class and in future endeavors.

The action-packed week cultivates the students’ creativity in a positive environment and allows them to explore their creative potential. The culmination of their effort premieres at a celebratory party with family, friends, and popcorn!

As part of the class, every child will learn about a Sony PXW x70 camera, tripods, boom mics, lighting, the green screen, as well as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro editing software.

The class runs from Monday, August 18, to Friday, August 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the cost to attend is $400. Parents of kids between the ages of 9 and 14 should sign up now, as space is limited.
