On Thursday, June 5, Lexington residents Elise Noble and Annie Porter graduated from Nashoba Brooks School in Concord. They were among 25 eighth-grade girls receiving diplomas at the graduation ceremony that day.

Head of School Danielle Heard praised the graduates for their leadership and encouraged them to take the concept of Fibonacci’s sequence and notice it in other areas of their lives. She spoke directly to the graduates when noting that, similar to the Fibonacci’s sequence, “each of you has proven, again and again, that you are not defined by one talent, one skill, or one area of interest. You are not just scholars, you are also athletes, and artists, and singers, and coders, and role models. You are not just confident, you are curious, caring, and infinitely capable.” As in many areas of life, this year’s graduating class of Nashoba Brooks students all brought unique parts that made our School community stronger as a whole.

When the formal remarks were completed, the eighth-grade advisors shared individual reflections about the graduates as they received diplomas. The Class of 2025 will be attending seventeen different schools next year, including Lexington High School.
