On April 19, 1775, the first shots of the American Revolution were fired on Lexington Green, changing history forever. On April 19, 2025—exactly 250 years later—you have the once-in-a-generation opportunity to run in the footsteps of history during the 111th Annual Patriots’ Day Road Race.

This year’s event is part of Lexington’s 250th Anniversary (Lex250) celebrations, and for the first time ever, every finisher will receive a special commemorative medal honoring this historic milestone.

Race Details:

  • New Date: Saturday, April 19 (not Monday!)
  • New Start Time: 8:00 am
  • New Start/Finish: Crosswalk between Via Lago & Cary Library
  • Same iconic 5-mile route through historic Lexington
  • Exclusive 250th Anniversary Finisher Medal for ALL participants!
  • Limited to 1,000 runners – Secure your spot early!
