Joe Pato is a gift to Lexington.

As others have noted, he’s a person of unimpeachable integrity and dedication. He has always been willing to listen and to discuss ideas with anyone, and his voice is unfailingly moderate, rational and humane. In addition, he created a brilliant online solution during the pandemic that allowed Town Meeting to continue, and those improvements in communication will endure not only for Town Meeting, but for all residents of Lexington.

Joe is hopeful about our future, as well as learned in the details of issues that come before the Board—important traits this year as we assess the new high school and the challenges of housing. As well as being a kind and brainy person, he’s the candidate we need in an age when recrimination and meanness can too easily invade our public discourse.

Lexington is lucky to have such an innovative and compassionate candidate, and even luckier that he wishes to continue on the Select Board. Please vote for him!
