Dear Lexington neighbors,

Tina McBride is a tireless, intelligent and passionate advocate for zoning and planning goals that balance Lexington’s needs for inclusionary housing, smart financial planning and environmental considerations.

As a Town Meeting member, volunteer on numerous committees and regular attendee of Planning Board meetings for over a decade, Tina is prepared for this position. She is known for her detailed analysis of fiscal and sustainability implications and her willingness to carefully and methodically review how decisions will impact the town.

Her website provides concrete examples of the issues she believes should be assessed and discussed with constituents and staff. The concerns she and other residents expressed about zoning changes—allowing development to outpace plans for schools, infrastructure, and emergency services—are being realized.

I appreciate Tina’s vision for how good planning can find the common ground for economic and sustainability goals. Vote for Tina McBride to compel a more holistic approach to the planning of Lexington’s future.
