Vineeta Kumar and Tina McBride.

Both women have served the Town while nurturing their children to adulthood.

Both women have been champions of education in the Lexington Public Schools. Vineeta served as President of the High School PTO and as Board member of the Lexington Education Foundation. Tina introduced sustainability to the schools, co-founding the LPS Green Teams, Food Share and Rescue Programs, and LHS Composting Program.

Both women are third-term Town Meeting Members.

Both women have personal and public awareness that a town that respects cultural diversity, equality of opportunity, and inclusion of differing economic and social voices in developing policies, is the best kind of town for all of its current and future residents.

Both women are keenly cognizant of the critical issue of climate change and the need for sustainable solutions as the town multiplies its number of housing units and the population grows.

The town is fortunate that these two compassionate, sensible, and intelligent women are candidates for two of the most complex and impactful town-wide offices: Select Board and Planning Board.

Thank you both for all you have contributed and will continue to contribute to the vitality of our town and the well-being of its residents and ratepayers.
