Java Joshi of Lexington was invited to exhibit her work at one the world’s most prestigious art venues – The Louvre Museum in Paris. Paris is the art capital of the world and the Louvre Museum is home to some of the world’s most famous artists’ work including Leonardo Da Vinci’s most famous “Mona Lisa”.

Java Joshi, the Founder of the Academy of Creative Arts in Burlington, has a PhD in Fine Arts of Drawing and Painting and has exhibited her work at various national and international art shows. Java has been teaching art for over 15 years and founded the Academy 10 years ago. Java was also honored at India New England’s “Women of the Year” awards in 2013 for her contributions to the field of art.

“It’s an honor and privilege to be a small part of such a vast world of art,” said Java Joshi.

For the last 20 years, Java has been involved in promoting art in collaboration with various art outlets including being part of the planning committee for Lexington Open Studios, helping organize art competitions, and encouraging other artists to collaborate and showcase their work.
