Pilgrim Church at 55 Coolidge Avenue, in Lexington is celebrating the 125th anniversary of its Hook and Hastings Pipe Organ with a special FREE concert on Sept. 25 from 2-3 PM. The concert will feature organists Dorothy Bowe (Music Director, Pilgrim Church); Robert Barney (Director of Music, Trinity Episcopal Church, Concord); Mary Anne Paradise (St. Timothy’s in Norwood); and organ student Ryan Brown. The works of César Franck, Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, and William Walond (among others) will be featured. The concert is open to the public. The sanctuary windows will be open and HEPA filters running for added safety. Pilgrim is fully handicap accessible, welcoming all individuals and families.
