Come celebrate spring at Lexington’s Discovery Day Street Fair in Lexington Center on Saturday, May 25th from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. No Rain Date.

Sponsored by the Lexington Retailers Association and hosted by over 100 of Lexington’s businesses and civic organizations, this event lets residents “rediscover” their town, and nonresidents “discover” the delights of beautiful and historic Lexington. Come enjoy and learn about all this community has to offer!

Massachusetts Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic from Waltham Street to Meriam Street in order to host this loved free community street fair.

Lexington retailers and service businesses will be ready with plenty of great merchandise and giveaways. Local restaurants will be selling a variety of sweet treats from BIY Foods Bakery Cafe, Rancatore’s Ice Cream & Yogurt and Coco Fresh Tea & Juice, and tasty food and snacks from Daikanyama Japanese Cuisine, Fiorella’s Trattoria, Galaray House, Inspire Bowl n’Tea, Omar’s Bistro, Revolution Hall, Royal India Bistro, Town Meeting Bistro, and Upper Crust Pizzeria. Be sure to check out the food and drink at the Revolution Hall Beer Garden, located in the back of Emery Park in Depot Square from 11:30am – 3:30pm.

Grace Chapel is hosting a Kids Zone entertainment area with activities, games, crafts, a bounce house and much more on the Visitors Center lawn. In addition, kids crafts and activities can be found at LexFUN!, Lexington Historical Society and others; and check out Virtual Reality at Omar’s/Pixel Paradise.

There will be live entertainment at the stage located on Mass Ave, opposite Emery Park featuring The Dance Inn, Ben Rudnick and Friends, Lexington Jazz Combo, Jeffrey Allen Shaw Band, and Mariachi Mexico Lindo (wandering through the crowd). Be sure to visit the entertainment area by Waltham St starting at 10:30am, with additional music and performance there the entire day.

Between shopping and eating, take time to visit Lexington’s civic groups and learn about our many cultural groups and what’s happening in the community. Lexington Fire & Police Departments will be on hand with demonstrations and safety tips. The Friends of Lexington Bikeways will be sharing their safety information, offering free kids bike helmets and taking donations for safety vests. The Lexington Water/Sewer Department will have a water trailer from the MWRA with bottle filling stations.

Visit with State Representative Michelle Ciccolo, who will be meeting and greeting her constituents. Learn about the upcoming plans to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington at the Lex250 booth.

Free parking at all Lexington Center parking meters and in the Depot Lot.
