Kayleigh McCormack, aged 16, was reported missing on Jan. 5 by staff at Pelham Academy.

Lexington Police Department sent an email out today, alerting the community that the teen is missing, and asking for their support in locating her.

McCormack is a white female, approximately 5 feet tall, and weighs about 175 pounds.

She was last seen by staff at Pelham Academy at 13 Pelham Rd. in Lexington around 4:30 p.m., wearing a black jacket over a gray sweatshirt, black leggings, and pink Jordan sneakers.

Pelham Academy is a boarding school in Lexington that provides treatment and education to young females who have emotional and behavioral challenges, mental health disorders, and complex trauma histories, its website states.

McCormack, who is referenced as “Kie” in older articles, has gone missing at least three other times. She went missing from the Museum of Science in Boston for over two weeks in 2024, NBC Boston reported. And she went missing twice within the span of a few months in 2023, the Lynn Daily Voice reported.

LPD is working with the Massachusetts State Police to find McCormack.

LPD asks anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of McCormack to contact Christopher Ducharme, a LPD detective, at (781) 862-1212.
