Archambeault, James H. of Lexington, died suddenly while playing golf at Lexington Golf Club on April 1, 2025. Beloved husband of Jane C. Archambeault (Botta). Loving father of Jennifer A. Poutre and her husband Tyler of Hamilton, James H. Archambeault Jr. and his wife Courtney of Lexington, and Allison A. Adams and her husband Steven of Peabody. Devoted brother of Anne Leahy and her husband Paul of Arlington. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Carter, Cora, Charlotte, James III, John, and Madeline. Jim was well known in his community and ran a local business. Raising all three children in Lexington he was very involved in youth sports. Whether it was on the golf course, at the rink, on his daily walk with his wife or “holding court” with the breakfast crew, he was a man of the town.
Funeral from the Douglass Funeral Home, 51 Worthen Rd., Lexington on Monday April 7th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Brigid Church, Lexington at 10am. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Private interment at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
