SUMMARY:Winter Coat Drive
DESCRIPTION:Coat Boston\, a Lexington-based nonprofit program providing new winter coats and accessories to Boston families in need\, will hold its annual coat drive from September 15 through November 8\, 2026. \nWorking in partnership with Boston Public Schools and Boston social service organizations\, Coat Boston distributes new winter coats\, hats\, and mittens to children and adults in underserved communities. The program operates from space provided by Hancock Church in Lexington. \nLast year\, Coat Boston distributed 2\,700 new coats and winter accessories. The program has continued its mission with the support of volunteers\, donors and community partners. \nCommunity members can help by donating new coats and winter accessories through November 8. Donations may be dropped off at Coat Boston\, 1912 Massachusetts Avenue\, Lexington.
