SUMMARY:Help Shape the Town’s Waste Collection Program
DESCRIPTION:The Town is preparing to roll out a modernized waste collection program in the summer of 2027 that will help control rising costs and reduce waste. The new system will include transitioning to automated collection\, which will mean residents will be provided with new wheeled carts for both trash and recycling. Trash\, recycling\, and compost will continue to be picked up weekly. \nThis fall\, the Select Board will be finalizing the updated program design. The Board will be making decisions such as what size carts will be provided\, what options are available for overflow waste\, and what flexibility can be built into the program for residents with varied needs. \nBefore finalizing the program\, we want to hear from you! Town staff will be hosting a series of community meetings to get input from residents on program design options. \nPlease consider attending one of the upcoming meetings to learn more about the upcoming changes and to weigh in on which option you prefer. \nThe meeting on September 2nd is virtual (Zoom link).

DESCRIPTION:Seeking all voice parts to join The Master Singers of Lexington. We are a 32-voice chorus that performs a wide range of new and older choral repertoire. We rehearse on Wednesday nights in Lexington\, with four concert performances each year. Auditions begin on Wednesday\, September 2\, and take place on ongoing Wednesdays.
