DESCRIPTION:Dismantling Racism in Our Town \na free conversation and reflection series in Lexington \nWednesdays\, 9:00-11:00 a.m.\, October 8 – November 19\, via Zoom \nsupported by the Lexington Human Rights Committee & Lexington Lyceum Advocates \nDismantling Racism in Our Town (DRIOT) is a seven-week learning journey offered by and for those who live\, work\, study\, and/or worship in Lexington or nearby towns. The auditorium doors will open at 6:30 p.m.\nLaw & Order: Fairy Tale Unit by Jonathan Rand is a whimsical spoof on the Law & Order television series. The show is appropriate and fun for all ages. \n“In the fairy tale criminal justice system\, citizens are represented by two separate yet equally ridiculous groups: the fairy tale police who investigate fairy tale crime\, and the fairy tale district attorneys who prosecute the fairy tale offenders. These are their stories.”

This is a bipartisan ballot effort to eliminate or reform the stipends that Beacon Hill lawmakers get for holding leadership positions. \nJay Kaufman\, Lexington resident and former Representative from the 15th Middlesex district from 1994-2019\, will explain what these stipends are and how they are allocated to legislators. He will describe the intent of this ballot question.
