DESCRIPTION:As we mark Holy Week this year\, Church of Our Redeemer (at 6 Meriam Street in Lexington) is offering services to which all are welcome\, including: \nMaundy Thursday: Thursday\, April 17th at 7:30 pm\, Maundy Thursday Service with Footwashing \nGood Friday: Friday\, April 18th at 10:00 am\, Station of the Crosses for all ages and at 7:30 pm\, Good Friday Service with Veneration of the Cross \nEaster Services:  Saturday April 19th at 7:30 pm\, the Great Vigil of Easter and Sunday\, and on Easter morning\, Sunday April 20th\, Easter Sunday services with guest Soprano and Trumpeter followed by an Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn. \nWe hope you will join us for these services as we approach our Easter celebration of the Resurrection!

SUMMARY:Good Friday Procession to the Battle Green
DESCRIPTION:All are invited to the Battle Green on Friday evening\, April 18th to honor those who perished in the Battle of Lexington 250 years ago. This brief commemoration will be part of the annual Good Friday Procession which will commence from St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church\, 17 Meriam Street at approximately 8:15 pm. The eight colonists who gave their lives for our country on Lexington’s Battle Green on April 19\, 1775 will be remembered when the Lamentations procession reaches the Battle Green. SUMMARY:Paul Revere’s Ride Reenactment
DESCRIPTION:Lexington was preparing for battle long before British soldiers arrived on April 19th\, 1775. Paul Revere and William Dawes\, fellow Sons of Liberty\, rode hard from Boston\, arriving in town just before midnight. Their destination: The home of Reverend Clarke. Their mission: To warn Patriot leaders John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the impending British raid.\n\nStart your Patriots’ Day early as they arrive and raise the alarm in Lexington! Join us for a live reenactment\, complete with real horses!\n\nPlease note that Hancock Street will be shut down ahead of this event and parking is not available on site. Parking in Lexington Center or at the lot behind the Lexington Depot at 13 Depot Square is highly recommended.\n\nThis reenactment is generously sponsored by the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism.\n\nFREE and open to the public!
