DESCRIPTION:Pilgrim Church’s and Lexington Neighbor Brigade’s annual Dignity Matters product drive starts this Sunday\, March 2nd\, and runs through March 30th! Help women and girls in need in Greater Boston. We’re collecting Tampons (boxes or individually wrapped)\, Pads (boxes or individually wrapped)\, Bras (new or very gently used)\, and Underwear (MUST be new with tags/packaging). Drop off at Pilgrim. \nLast year\, the community contributed 1\,500 products! Let’s go for MORE this year\, sharing extra love and dignity with all women! DESCRIPTION:The way we currently manage the suburban and urban landscape is creating a wasteland and harming the well-being of Earth. Fortunately\, we have an alternative path: we can work with natural systems instead of working against them. Basil will describe actions we can take\, from planting saplings and saving mature trees to planting pocket forests\, replacing our lawns with native meadows\, and empowering communities to take action together. \nBasil Camu pursues his purpose and passions as the co-founder of Leaf & Limb\, a tree care company in Raleigh\, NC. His work has been featured in the New York Times\, Seattle Times\, Forbes\, Gardenista\, The Joe Gardener Show\, and a number of other publications and podcasts.
