DESCRIPTION:The Lexington Council for the Arts invites you view the “Lexington: A Sense of Place” show. \nOpening statements at 4:00 pm followed by a stroll with our Artists and Architects to see the 6 pieces on display. \nDate: August 8\, 2023 \nTime: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm \nPlace: Behind the Lexington Visitor Center 1875 Massachusetts Ave\, Lexington \nLexington: A Sense of Place\, a temporary public art exhibit brought to you by the Lexington Council for the Arts\, curated by Laurie Bogdan. It is displayed along the Minuteman Bikeway (between the Visitors Center and Hancock Street). Six sculptures\, created by local artists and architects\, will be on view until the late fall 2023. These imaginative\, creative pieces take aspects of Lexington’s architectural styles\, past and present\, as their source of inspiration.
